Things have been quiet over here - maybe a little too quiet. Or perhaps they've been too hectic to post anything. Possibly. There are a couple of rants simmering at the back, awaiting seasoning and a quick stir before being unceremoniously dumped onto here somewhere. But yeah, a number of changes have taken place since the last offering of drivel...
New job
Yeah, just about the time of the last post I was busy changing employer. My daily commute has increased from 30 miles each way to just over 50. The increase in travelling time isn't particularly large though, and I don't have to leave at 6.30 each morning just to miss the traffic.
New wife
About one month after starting the new job I got hitched. Ha! So there we have it, marriage preparations have been taking up all my time. Well I'll use that excuse but I didn't really need to sort much out after arranging the venue, date, time and informing family and friends of the arrangements. That happy event took place on 22nd April (so now I can refer back to this post to check when the anniversary is - if the blog survives that long of course). It really was a good day having family and friends around for some eating and drinking. The rain stayed off too.
And now...?
We appear to have been spending the past couple of weekends visiting people - perhaps it's all this being married lark, going places as couples and stuff. It's quite good really, and it's funny sneaking off for a sly pint with other male halfs of partnerships whilst the women do their thing (shopping probably).
